School Garden

The boys in Scoil Mhuire have been busy in our school garden throughout the year. With the tireless efforts of Miss Cooney and a parent volunteer, Sharon Guy, the boys planted daffodils and tulips for our spring garden. We would like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to Sharon Guy for all her help and time this year. We really appreciate it! Over the last two months we have been busy preparing and maintaining the vegetable garden. With the help of nominated garden volunteers from 5th and 6th class we have planted all sorts of vegetables and herbs such as carrots, onions, runner beans, garlic and much more! Please feel free to have a look and a wander around the garden when you are passing. Keep and eye out for the sunflowers we will be planting this month!
