It was a spooktacular last day of half term for Scoil Mhuire as our boys arrived for school dressed up as spooks, ghouls and popular characters following the age-old traditions set forth by the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain around 2000 years ago. Parent volunteers, led by Bernie Delaney put a huge effort into transforming our school hall into a spooky grotto with a range of traditional and fun activities for each class to play. Prizes were given for most original costumes and a fun time was had by all! |
