As part of our school music programme, Na Píobairí Uilleann in conjunction with Dublin City Council, has offered Scoil Mhuire the opportunity to have the uilleann pipes taught in the school. We are delighted to say that in early October, eight boys were selected to begin tuition in the pipes. I am informed that these boys are making steady progress. Maybe one day, some of these boys will follow in the footsteps of Paddy Moloney of the Chieftans and become world renowned for their skill with the uilleann pipes.

Our sincerest thanks to Na Piobairi Uilleann for this wonderful opportunity.
